Orange Hockey Incorporate (Junior Sub Committee) are now seeking Expressions of Interest for Selectors, Coaches and Team Managers for 2024 to support selection of the 2024 Orange Junior Hockey Representative Teams for 2024 for all age groups including Under 12's, 14's, 16's and U18's in both boys and girls.

A focus of Orange Hockey Junior Representative Teams is to establish a positive team culture with an emphasis on well-being.

Orange Hockey values and supports our coaches, managers and selectors.

Key dates for each state championship in 2024 is noted below, before considering nominating for a position please ensure that you will be available to attend the relevant state championships. At this stage Hockey NSW are still in negotiations as to where each championship will take place. However there has been a change in format for Opens and u18's as the championships have been split into divisions and both the men and women will be at the one venue based on their division.

There will also be Western Conference carnivals which the Under 12's, 14's and 16's Boys and Girls teams will attend. The dates for these one day carnivals for each age group has not been confirmed and as soon as it is available Orange Junior Hockey shall notify the Hockey Community via their face book page.

Please also note if you are intending on nominating for the u12's boys or girls teamm then these teams will be competing in the York Cup and Kim Small Shield in Tamworth on the 1st weekend of the June/July school holidays (to be formally confirmed) with such tournament running from Thursday to Monday .

All applicants will be required to have a current Working With Children Check and undergo a screening process as part of Hockey's commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.

We confirm that Orange Junior Hockey will be holding the selection trials for the respective age groups on the following dates:-

1st Trial is to be held on Sunday 25 February 2024

U12 Boys and Girls from 3.00pm to 4.00pm 

u14 Girls and Boys from 4.00pm to 5.00pm

U16 Girls and Boys from 5.00pm to 6.00pm

u18 Girls and Boys from 6.00pm to 7.00pm

2nd Trial is to be held on Tuesday 27 February 2024

U12 Boys and Girls from 4.30pm t0 5.30pm 

u14 Girls and Boys from 5.30pm to 6.30pm

u16 Girls and Boys from 6.30pm to 7.30pm

u18 Girls and Boys from 6.30pm to 7.30pm

If you wish to nominate as a Selector for any of the above age groups you must be avaialble to attend both selection trials.
